Access by plane:
The international airports in Bucharest, Henri Coanda-Otopeni (OTP) and Baneasa (BBU) are located some 160 km (about 110 miles) away from Poiana Brasov. From both airports you can reach the ski resort by :

• taking a taxi or bus to Bucharest North railway station. From the railway station you can take the first departing train to Brasov. From Brasov railway station you can take either a taxi (ask the driver what would be the price of the ride to Poiana Brasov before boarding the car; a normal price would be around 15-20 EUR/car/one way) either public transportation (bus no.4 to Livada Postei and bus no. 20 from Livada Postei to Poiana Brasov; tickets are to be purchased from the kiosks in the bus stops)
